Scottie discovers doorstep sandwiches

Good old British sunshine

In the last couple of weeks we've gone from needing hats and scarves and bemoaning the length of the winter to all of a sudden finding ourselves with amazing sunny weather. Lottie and Scottie found it all a bit much this afternoon, and collapsed under a parasol.

Early morning flypast

This morning's excitement started when Scottie spotted a hot air balloon floating up over the trees of our holiday cottage in the south lakes area in Cumbria. He shouted to Lottie to come quickly and they were soon out on the terrace watching it float over.
